Ap’s lawyer is paid for by the Banfields. There is a reason her lawyer isn’t trying to get her to flip. It wouldn’t bode well for their other paying client.

As far as her actions she could claim she was told to shoot JR by her “law enforcement” employer/lover. She felt pressure, confusion, anxiety and a loss of conscious reality. If her confession secures B’s conviction I think charges against her would be dropped and she’d be deported. If that’s even a remote possibility I don’t understand why her lawyer wouldn’t be urging her to tell all.
But then again she’s psycho. In court they released texts of hers to other area Brazilian au pairs in which she was looking to go out to bars that hosted Brazilian dance parties. This a mere three weeks after she had shot someone and seen another person bleeding to death.

The challenge would be the timing of Joe arriving, then AP arriving, then BB arriving. One would think Joe wouldn't have remained in the bedroom if CB was dead but BB needed him in the room. For me the hardest thing to reconcile is this, how did BB discover Joe in the room unless Joe and CB expected to see one another and CB was alive and well when Joe arrived.

Anonymous wrote:Here is a theory reg the knife: what if BB stabs CB, leaves w the knife and gets rid of it ( at McDonalds, or something)—since he was counting on JR bringing his own knife, which then BB would make sure it had blood, etc— but then JR did not bring a knife, and they only found out after killing him— maybe the reason of the different 911s and hang ups, as the were trying to adjust the plan.
Anonymous wrote:Trying to follow all the updates on this case. Has there been any information on whether the knife that was used to stab CB been found or not? If they can’t find the knife, doesn’t that clear JR and debunk the AP’s story?
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:The story about going to another room and him feeding her the combo for the safe and her quickly opening the gun safe under duress is not particularly believable. Nor is the time for delay re: the above if JR posed a true ongoing threat.
For practical reasons, BB, trained LE, had his loaded weapon in hand and could have fired again if need be. I think he did not want to fire the definitive kill shot so that if need be AP would take the fall for the more easily proved homicide, not him. Shooting someone on the ground who has been shot in the head when there was an ability to retreat (proved by going into another room) is going to be hard for her to skate on. BB really set up 3 people. And, he did not marry her during the time they were playing house before her arrest.
BB was rendering aid to CB while the AP was covering Joe.
Rendering aid while covering Joe? Ok…Brendan the LE didn’t just shoot Joe again? Instead Brendan told Juliana to go get a different gun, in a different room, in a locked safe and then come back and shoot Joe who was on the ground. Make that make sense.

It came out in court that he/someone had JR BRING a knife from home. My initial thought, since there was so much prior back and forth about a knife (despite JR never having done knife play) and he sent a (likely requested) photo of one, was that BB had an identical one. That way there would be one with JR's fingerprints, KEY, and the murder weapon. But EMT testified did not see a knife. So, not sure what the story will be there.

BB did leave the scene of the crime to go to hospital for a supposed injury. Maybe that knife went with him…
