This is such a mortifying moment for the United States. Trump is an unmitigated disaster in every conceivable realm.
We need a full and transparent accounting of the cost in blood and treasure to our republic. Trump may slither away from responsibility but the SCOTUS get out jail card is not applicable to the rest of his administration.

As crazy as Trump is, he’s always been pretty adamant about not being a fan of war. They should’ve banked on someone else as the Republican candidate. Nikki Haley for example was more of a war hawk than Trump.
Trump was a former Democrat. People forget that. His favorite president is JFK.

He also scammed the American people. Trump says what he thinks someone wants to hear. He doesn’t actually have any core values or principles besides wanting to “win”. He saw that Iran would make him lose so he adjusted accordingly so he can claim a “win”
