That’s what you get for marrying a women’s studies major.
I’m annoyed this morning but I’m a nurse who worked throughout the pandemic. I also had to manage kids at home and deal with all the BS at work. Basically a bunch of mostly white well off suburban women have been melting down now for over 1.5 years and this was their way to get back at the people they felt were responsible.

This seems increasingly par for the course for the past 20 years. Expected.

I won’t vote to harm you. I won’t try to force you into a closet away from society. That doesn’t mean I have to like you or that I won’t call you out on your shitty behavior.

And this whole thread illustrates that. And when called on it - more name calling. It’s pretty funny.
Anonymous wrote:Very sad. Consider the fact that Trump’s plan is working. There's just more people being sucked into the web of lies, and false flags. Even Democrats now , due to their anger about COVID and schools...as if they have no understanding of what is going on .
Very sad.

Walls don't work. Or so they tell me.
BTW, DC would love a wall. Then they could charge tolls to enter the city.
Who would pay a toll to go to DC? Few people have to work there and government agencies can move anywhere in the country. We already have most of the military and intelligence community in Virginia.
Good luck getting the cultural community to charge tolls to attend their programs. As the pandemic proved, they can get much better attendance with Zoom.
DC is an anachronism that is the perfect setting for extreme liberals who never quite mature but mentally stay in the salad days of their youth.

Anonymous wrote:So how will Youngkin make education better? Can someone point to an example of how Republicans have improved educational outcomes in their states? No snark, I really want an answer.

I was one of those people. Youngkin had no chance. Period. Not in a state that went for Joe by +10 just a year ago. The results of this election simply fo not match the poling. That means there is exactly one reason, and one reason only, why he won: Fraud. Massive, unprecedented fraud.
The republicans stole this election. There is no other reason.
You are really ignorant. McAuliffe was an awful candidate. The Loudoun school rape and it’s coverup had an impact. Parents are pissed about the past twenty months. The Democrat response was to declare parents should have no say in their schools. Democrats shot themselves in the foot. There was no fraud. People are angry and voting for Youngkin was their response. I hope he governs as a centrist. We’ll see.
