I think it’s super strange they took her out the front door whether she was alive or deceased. Presumably it was more visible. It makes me think she was already deceased and they thought it was a shorter route to transport her to a getaway vehicle.
If this was a true kidnapping, why wouldn’t there be an actual ransom and exchange? It seems like she was randomly targeted by some sick person or it was a burglary gone wrong and she had an event at the scene.
Either way it’s horrifying.

She has a long, mostly drug involved or arrest history and sometimes she’s been arrested with Luke Daley, the owner of the Range Rover that was detained, and then the Range Rover towed away from the Culvers.
Zack Jaghoub is involved with the business that sold the Range Rover to Luke, and if you take a look at him and compare it to the masked man you might see some similarities. Although some people see similarities with Luke. Zach also lives in the area, potentially near where one of the gloves with potentially perpetrator matching DNA was found. So maybe it’s all a coincidence who knows.

NO. that has been debunked. She is not Nancy’s niece.
Can you link to a credible source where it's been debunked that Kayla Noel Day is *not* related to Nancy? I see a few news outlets are saying "it's reported that Kayla is Nancy's niece", which isn't exactly stating that it's a fact either.
I've read (can't find where now) that Kayla is either the daughter/granddaughter of "Penny Day Guthrie" or "Penny Guthrie Day", who is possibly related to Nancy's husband's brother. The relationship was complicated to read, and I felt like it was saying Kayla was possibly Nancy's niece's daughter.
I also saw speculation that Penny Guthrie may just share the last name "Guthrie" with Nancy and Savannah, but is unrelated.
In any event, I haven't seen credible reporting that Kayla definitely *is* or definitely "is not* related to Nancy. Officials have not stated either way.
Regardless, Kayla was arrested last year with Luke Daley (drug charges) and Kayla was again arrested last week and is currently in custody. They both have a long history of drug arrests. Luke's newly acquired Range Rover is being processed.

Sure, it may not be on the 24 hour news cycle, but I feel like an eighty year old woman being kidnapped in the dead of night by an ominous figure with no apparent motive would be major news? I can’t remember anything similar to this happening in recent years at least.
How many elderly people have gone missing since Nancy had gone missing?
It’s beyond bizarre that they are still covering it the way they are. This is an Arizona issue. Not a national issue. Even the police is saying it’s not helpful at this point for everyone to keep concocting theories.
How many elderly people have been kidnapped by masked intruders in the middle of the night? I’m sure some elderly people have wandered off due to dementia or other issues but it’s nowhere near the same thing.
You still don’t know that she didn’t wonder off. There is no proof that she was even kidnapped. It’s bizarre that this is breaking news 3 weeks in and quite frankly offensive to all of the other people who have gone missing.

I do not remember this much coverage for children who go missing- beyond a few days, and there are children who go missing that we never hear about. It certainly an odd case, and there are so many questions, but it remains at the top of the news cycle.
It's getting attention because of the daughter. I guarantee you if you mother or mine had the same experience it would get little or no national press.
Polly Klass and Elizabeth Smart were both snatched from their homes and hot this same level of attention, even pre internet and before we had 24 hour viral news cycles.
What a ridiculous comment. Just because certain kidnappings randomly (and not so random because it's often a narrow set of demographics) get attention doesn't mean the average person does. Do you really not get that people are kidnapped too often and get no media attention? PP you quoted is 100% right. -NP
Are you serious? The average person will never be kidnapped. This is extremely rare which is why it gets attention.
