Well for my family, my spouse is out of a job after a layoff 6 months ago. So we both stopped contributing to 401ks because we need to ensure we have excess funds on hand as this drags on.

Private sector, unrelated to government. US jobs are in the toilet thanks to Trump and it is brutal out there.
