Both teams are middle of the table at U13 and U14. You sound like an overzealous parent.
CZ has never cared about winning games before U15. If you don’t like that, feel free to watch your DD sit the bench at VDA or Union. That’s just how he is. Been there done that but all of his older seem to win. The 08s, 07s, 06s, 05s at FCV were all contenders for National Championships but early on BP and CZ didn’t try to win and would often do the exact same thing you mentioned. The 08s and 07s were torn apart when BP and CZ left. The 09s managed to stay together so we’ll see how they do this year.
Just remember, U16 and U17 are the most important years.

I’ve known CZ and his teams for ovet 10 years. Can’t speak on NE. ED is a douche and Marvin seems like the type that doesn’t want to win either and tries to get everyone playing time.
I stand by what I said. I secretly wish VRSC would replace ED. There are much better coaches out there they could replace him with.
What do you make of Christian and Marvin each having two GA teams and co-coaching a third, with ED being an assistant coach for the three youngest teams? How will they allocate their time?

Let me just say the boys teams or at least my son’s team, is not riding anyone’s coattails. This team has earned their wins and their accomplishments. Most of the boys on this team have been with the club for several years.

Funny watching the evolution of the haters’ gripes. Having now realized that it’s not credible to continue denying the obvious substantial progress VRSC has made over the last couple years (building on the groundwork the club laid in prior years), they’re now upset that some current players and coaches came from other clubs, as if that’s not the case at every single club of any consequence.

That’s a garbage take and you know it. Every single soccer club brings in players from the outside. They all hold tryouts and ID sessions which have no purpose other than bringing in outside players. Any prior “work” that a player brings with them is their own and clubs don’t own players. Every business hires people from outside. It’s called a free market and it’s how things work here.
