You’re not paying attention to the details. He got them to safety in knee-deep water. Then he started puking. Once he was done puking, he said he didn’t see her and figured she walked up back to her room. Every summer even in Ocean City, there’s a drowning and often it’s a knee deep water. It is not beyond the realm of possibility that another wave knocked her over, especially in her inebriated state. You are thinking about this from the perspective of a sober person and try to think about it from the perspective of two very inebriated individuals. Their decision-making often does not make sense.


If she drowned in knee deep water (totally possible I agree) where is the body? It would still be there. It’s like some of you have never actually been in the ocean.

Dunno. Based on reports and after collecting memories which is normal, the person gave more details of those moments. Maybe your question was addressed in one of their stories?

DP here. I didn’t see any discrepancies and I took his statements from quotes of his released by police and his attorneys. Rather than discrepancies though, his statement was just illogical. How did she drown AFTER he saved her? If she didn’t drown, where is she?

How can her parents just think she drowned if he says he saved her from drowning? She then tried to drown herself again? What?

No one knows. The last person they think to have seen the young woman may not know either. Young woman's parents have asked for "closure." Unless there is some new discovery or statements, who knows. What DR et al does on 28th unknown too.

Would be helpful to have clarification about what happened with passport for other Americans including young adults who travel or are planning to but understandbly that too we may not find out in this specific case

She was furious when someone got their names, but was okay with this named and pilloried boy taking the fall in place of the "friends." Why? Because she doesn't want their futures jeopardized - probably she's the mom of one of them. She was okay with this boy's future getting fully jeopardized and destroyed.

My guess is that is just IG trash talk someone is sensationalizing for clicks. Regardless, remember this is a real person and none of us would want what happened to Sudiksha or the boy to happen to our kids.

I think folks need to remember that this is a discussion forum and many of the things written Here are not based in fact. The things you think you know about the situation are either made up by people or rumor mill. The parents have facts from the DR law enforcement, Loudon County police and FBI. They made their decisions to ask for their daughter to be declared deceased based on that.
