I guess there is an advantage to not having a reason for starting a war.

The MOU mentions nothing about inspections confirming when Iran says that it’s not enriching uranium that its true. And also makes no mention of the Strait being free and open unless I missed something?

Those things are in the US version of the MOU. 😉

Link to this US version? Seems like a problem if there are two versions. It would indicate there is not in fact an agreement.

What they have agreed to is 60 more days of the ceasefire and Iran has 30 days to open the strait or else Trump will talk to Bibi.

Ever notice how Trump and company describes the Iranians as desperate for a peace deal and a few minutes later talk about how hard it is to negotiate with the Iranians? The Iranians are not desperate. Let watch the tanker traffic. Will it be restored to pre war levels in 30 days? When will China start buying oil again. The Chinese have reduced their oil buys by 8 million barrels a day.

And giving Iran $300 BILLION to 'rebuild' their infrastructure sounds like ANOTHER 'palettes of cash' deal.

I'm NOT impressed with this 'deal' that President Trump's team negotiated."

Iran is getting immediate sanctions relief while giving up nothing—no uranium, no ballistic missile program, no proxies, nothing.

In fact, it’s worse than before the war.

As someone once said:
Iran never won a war but never lost a negotiation!"

Why would Iran give up anything? They are not giving up control of the strait, missiles, drones or their nuclear material. They agreed to this before and got attacked by the US and Israel. This was largely because Israel push the US in to war with Iran.

The Iranians have said they are not giving up these things before and during the ceasefire. It is time for the pro Israel/neocons groups to accept reality. The US took its best shot and failed. I doubt Bibi survives this. Trump will but republicans will not.

They apparently can't show it for reasons. But it's totally awesome and isn't a total capitulation at all, but, you know, secretly.

The sanctions are unenforceable because Iran can stop or reduce oil flows to countries that will not trade with them. Iran has a lot of power here. Money and self interest alway beat out sanctions.

lol! Iran is now a rising power in the Middle East and will only get stronger. All those gulf states are going to cut ties with Israel and make deals with Iran.

Why? Because those states need to sell oil. They will gladly paid Iran reparations, remove sanctions and pay an environmental tax on all oil moving through the strait. It is cheaper vs what is going on now and it is predictable.

Don’t think Trump cares about what Israel thinks. Bet there is regime change in Israel after all of this. We have just set the table for China for the next 50 years.

When do we take down Cuba?

Well if Trump is involved Cuba will prime my be able to buy itself nuclear subs by next year. Just save the lives and write them the check now.
