Yeah no. They deliberately didn’t stamp it. Either to be petty or worse. Who cares what everyone knew. When you get off an international flight whether it’s in Dulles or San Juan you’re segregated from the rest of the airport until you go through DHS so everyone is assumed to have come from their flight point of origin. Doesn’t check out.

Do you drink alcohol? I’m guessing not, since anyone who drinks knows full well that vomiting will occur with ANY alcohol if one drinks enough of it.
Yes I’m aware of the past cases of tainted alcohol being sold by DR bars; believe the bars got a cheap deal from island distilleries on “rejected” batches of rum (probably mostly heads and tails, them mixed in with known-good batches).
NP. It’s not a far-fetched theory at all. Read the reviews of the hotel from that week.

Sometimes the stamp is not fully on a passport page. If you see that it's cut off and they probably did so without realizing, ask them to stamp again just to make sure.

Whenever I have to assume something was either deliberate or incompetence, I lean towards incompetence just based upon past life experiences.

How is that any different from an emergency passport provided to a US citizen traveling aboard whose passport gets lost or stolen? Those also won’t have the entry stamp and will be blank. I know so many people that have had to get a passport under emergency circumstances (usually these kind of passports are temporary and only allow entry back into the US, once you’re back in US you still need to get a brand new one if that makes sense but this temporary one gets you back home into the US). How is this any different?

Did they make it to the U.S.? It's not clear to me from the news if they made it onto their next flight:
Puerto Rico is the US
It's a territory of the U.S., not one of the states of the United States.
Anyway, what I meant was has he made it to one of the 50 states in the United States? Meaning, if he makes it to one of the 50 states, he's safe. If he's stuck in Puerto Rico, DR might get ideas and try to pull him back.
