Langley vs Madison - Haven’t met since a preseason scrimmage. Finished the regular season as the DCUM and MadLax #1 and #2 public teams. Madison has knocked Langley out of regionals two of the last three years. Edge to Madison as they seem to win bigger games.
Looks like a Saxon - Warhawk Doubleheader in Vienna on Tuesday with both girls and boys squaring off in what should be two great games.
Someone better tell the Vienna Inn that the Saxons are coming to pillage their town so lock the doors.
Seriously, best post I’ve seen in a while. It left me grinning.
Saxon fans would not dare step into the Vienna Inn

Neither the boys Oakton-YT or the girls Oakton-YT game (prior game tonight) are scheduled on NFHS at the moment. This also happened for the YT-Mclean game in districts where it didn't broadcast on NFHS. Is it the AD's job to schedule or someone else's?
Think YT has their own YouTube channel. and the world’s most annoying/homer announcer doing unnecessary play-by-play..

It's not going to happen, but it would be nice to see each region get one team and then four at large bids.
I would have all four Region D semifinalists, Robinson, West Potomac, Battlefield, and Cosby.
this year it is an easy call that those are the 8 teams that should be in. But in a year where it is not so clear, who would decide the at large bids?

While other teams have to play teams without a winning record or no wins against top 15 teams. And the reward is that you have to face off against Region C? Just insane.
A
Cosby vs Deep Run
B
Battlefield vs Forest Park
Freedom South Riding vs Colgan
C
Robinson vs Woodson
West Potomac vs Alexandria City
D
Oakton vs Yorktown
Madison vs Langley
Forest Park will upset Battlefield. Heard it hear first. Eastern Prince William ain't no joke!
