She looks fabulous in this picture.

It's close but not quite there. I like the top. Her hair looks good (though would be annoying in real life, always over one eye). The belt looks wrong. I like the pants but something is a little off about them. Can't tell what shoes she's wearing.

I agree 💯 with this assessment. The outfit is “off” but not inappropriate.

I don’t get how anyone says she isn’t naturally attractive- she has a lot to work with. She’s slim, she has lovely eyes, and thick hair. But she just totally refuses to work with what she has. It wouldn’t even take “work,” just a little more thought put into her appearance. It’s not going to take much to find some makeup that evens out her skin tone and makes her look less haggard or get her hair in better shape, or come up with a capsule wardrobe that actually works for her coloring and figure.

My best friend is a little bit like this- very academically accomplished but almost determined not to look her best. It’s really weird and I think she has some sort of mental block. If Usha were my friend I would be reading her the riot act about her outfits and she probably wouldn’t listen.

Exactly, this is a fashion forum. No one is talking about her politics or even her dh's. We are talking about her fashion sense, or lack thereof. She is an objectively frumpy woman; she even acknowledges that it's not her gig by saying "I didn't know JD was getting picked so I didn't have outfits planned for the RNC" (which, btw, I don't believe) "this job doesn't come with a stylist," "I dress like someone with three kids and a dog" (still unclear what that means, plenty of women with three kids and a dog dress well. Kate Middleton comes to mind). etc. She is just not into fashion.

Fwiw, I don't really comment on the Trump sisters or wives. For all of Ivanka's flaws, for example, she is usually well-dressed and looks put together, even if it's not a look I'd choose myself. Usha and Kimberly Guilfoyle are the only ones within that inner circle who look truly bad.
