I think you're misusing the word sad here. This whole thread shows why people would not want logos.
This. I don’t care about brands but I don’t want people assuming I’m a certain kind of person because I carry a certain brand.
Also, I think a lot of logos are just ugly. Like I think the LV logo pattern is objectively unattractive.
I don’t wear logos because I don’t like the way they look. I like simple bags without any embellishment except maybe the clasp/closure on a handbag. Same with shoes. Also don’t like logos on my clothes. I’m aware my things are from a “brand” but I don’t like “branded items.” That’s not that crazy. I just prefer a cleaner look.

I used to like minkoff bags and buy them but the quality has really declined and I ended up returning the last couple I ordered.
That’s funny because they have always been made in the same place (the same factories where Kate Spade bags are made in China).
No, they actually used to be made in the USA during the early days, then they moved production to China.

There's a whole big thread about the on the purse blog where you can read about how they transitioned to China around 2008 from the USA. But I remember being one of the early buyers of her purses and mine was made in the USA. I also remember when she had her Made in NYC section on her website.
