Could be, but there’s guys roughly their age who are still doing challenging moves + the younger members are still in their mid-20s and I don’t think have an injury history? Boy groups promoting into their late 20s+ is a pretty new thing really … groups tend to go their separate ways because of the military enlistment thing and some members wanting to concentrate more on acting and leaving their initial agency. They have to work it into their contract with their new management that they’d also like to promote with their old group at times.
Anyway, getting off topic. I agree they need to go back to their old song writing teams. Didn’t Ed Sheeran have his hands in some of their other songs, I want to say Make It Right? Which was a total dud for me. I wasn’t a fan of BTS’s original sound when they first debuted though. Fans are nostalgic for songs like Fire which just sounds like noise to me. I think they were at their best between like, 2017-2020 until Covid.
Unfortunately Korea is having a Covid wave and it’s affecting a ton of groups which are now having positive tests and quarantines and having to stop their promos. I think BTS said they wouldn’t promote in Korea until live audiences were allowed at shows and concerts which could be 6+ months off at this rate.
