That one makes sense.
But no one seems to consider it as they coldly talk about how people with no children seem weird for being here. I wanted kids. I came here when we were trying for them to get information about daycares and nanny shares. Then after several losses moved to infertility, then once my marriage fell apart, relationships. Now I am mostly in the non-children related forums. You smug marrieds with kids don't own the internet or even DCUM. Whew. I feel better.

NP: I ended up here after doing a search related to some places and experiences that I remembered from my childhood growing up in DC. I hung around for some of the general topics.
