The only club who will take on this liability in the DC area is Mad Lax.

Whether you love or hate the owner, the Mad Lax owner is needed right now.

Mitchell Brothers at Next Level dont have the experience and DCE is gone in two years.


Please enlighten me on why DCE will be gone in two years. Please try and be specific.

The IAC is run by Georgetown Prep and St. Albans primarily, Landon generally follows policy and procedures based on what these schools are doing.

Episcopal and SS/SA generally stick together as they are the two VA privates in the league.

Bullis is typically on an island and does whatever it wants however they have a new headmaster this year.

Funny how the ISL can play games in Va in March, but the IAC leadership is so stretched by the lack of brain power, they chose to wait until April.

Exactly. Bullis was well within the rules and good for them. Quite frankly, I wish the Prep HOS and AD would get off their asses. Practice isn't mandatory over Spring Break?? Really? If it wasn't for the call with Senior parents. Prep would have cancelled all sports this Spring. Just awful leadership.


I have no issues with Bullis having a single scrimmage in February with Spaulding, good for their players and coaches for thinking outside the box.

The Prep AD has never truly cared about lacrosse during his tenure as he is the head football coach. He saw Coach Giblin is a direct threat to his football program as GP lacrosse garnered national recognition.

If you have noticed, Prep's football program has elevated since Giblin departed ways with the school.

I'd be shocked if the IAC even has a sanctioned league this Spring.

Because Bullis is different than the rest of the IAC when it comes to recruiting, sports and scholarships. They are a WCAC school really except for the enrollment but they have the slight benefit of being in MoCo where they can practice and it's not against martial law. Good for them for trying to get back to life. They have a responsibility to all those students they recruited under the premise of trying to further their education in college by having a competitive sports program. It's against IAC rules but there is no IAC right now.

How was Bullis able to play a scrimmage the other weekend vs Spaulding but no other IAC teams appear to be doing much other than a few practices here and there.
