The new admission policy ensures that more kids who need this enrichment get it whereas the old system only ensured kids who already got outside enrichment got it from the school too. This seems like a great and necessary change.

sure way to debate the straw man. People are saying that TJ has a negligible amount of URMs attending and that is a problem for a public magnet school. If you don't think that having a student body that is 1% African American at the only competitive magnet high school in the county is a problem, then Fairfax county is probably a little far north for you- perhaps rural Mississippi would be more to your liking?

Bigots like you don't get to insinuate that others are racist. But whatever. Yeah, no, people are absolutely not laying off prep as being a key to the discussion whenever they try to deflect from anti-Asian/anti-immigrant prejudice as motivating the changes, so you probably need to look up what a strawman means.

the school needs to be 75% asian otherwise the everyone is racist
