This is VDA’s 4th year with a girls program. Have PWSI and VSA before VDA? Yes.
I guess McLean trolls forget Ali Krieger is on the USWNT with over 100 caps and played for PWSI. But, what evs...
if the folks that trained Krieger were still at VDA and VDA were placing a dozen or more kids each year in DI programs, I would say that VDA is a serious club but we both know that isn't the case. Look, I am not saying that VDA isn't a good platform. I think this argument started because VDA folks were hyping the club's U15 team. If that team is great then I am excited for the players but one strong team does not a successful club make.
VDA was created in 2016, when Krieger was 32. She did not play a single game for VDA. People who coached her at PWSI and at her high school do not coach at VDA. VDA had ZERO role in developing Krieger.
That's why they put PWSI. Do you need a waambulance called as you choke on those french-cries and waa-chup
I like what you did there
Im a fan of Joe dirt too

FCV has been the strongest club in northern Virginia for some time, look at the college recruits and YNT players

No question
Except McLean has always had a better class of college recruits and had more YNT players. They have also had several pros which FCV has not had. If you throw in team success, there is no comparison between McLean and FCV.
When FCV can get into the top league, then they can compare themselves with McLean until then lets simmer down.
I am not a big fan of FCV but Meghan Nally is a pro and Emily Fox will be and has played for the WNT.
Both girls were ECNL players. FCV should never have gone to DA. Now bridges are burned.
