Yeah she is a very private person. Alexis is her stage name (her middle name), not her first name she uses in real life (Kim). That probably helps with privacy too. Keeping her son out of the public eye for 5 years is a feat. Her and her husband could give lessons on how to be famous and maintain a private life.

Not really. Alexis and her now ex husband are not that famous.

But it does highlight how lower level stars like Bledel are full of it when they say they can't have a private life. They can they just don't want to

I don't totally agree. Gilmore Girls was/is hugely popular, it has a revival on Netflix, she was in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and is close with those co-starts including Blake Lively, she starred on Mad Men and Handmaid's Tale, she is beautiful.... her privacy is a choice that takes effort to maintain. The fact that you think that's she's not that famous or someone who would warrant a lot of attention is a testament to these efforts. Not the other way around.
