What men? Mr Knick knack is one man that did a horrible thing. Do you keep your kid away from all teachers and coaches when you hear a horrible thing? Knick knack is a person, who it sounds like made a lot of people uncomfortable. Do your research. People have google reviews or whatever. I’m just saying I agree with the few posters that have had positive experiences with entertainers. Hire someone or don’t. I just think painting an entire industry bad because of a sick, disgusting guy isn’t good. Yes, being a guy and a father, the Knick knack thing or hearing about a male teacher that preys on kids is horrible. It pisses off men, too, when we hear these things.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Didn’t the mom say she sent her husband over while he was singing to her kid? Something made her feel uncomfortable and she was over there and hopefully this guy is never around another kid. Ever. I’ve used entertainers and never had a creepy experience, but I’m glad that mom was vigilant. I looked it up, and apparently Knick knack has trial in June and hopefully he’ll go to jail.Anonymous wrote:What about the mom on this thread who hired Steven Rossi, and then found him a corner with her child? She said she didn't know if he had already molested her child.
What do YOU think mr knick knack was doing to her child off in the corner?
Crickets. His actions speaks for themselves. Parents beware of these men wanting to get next to your children.

Oh, that’s so heartbreaking, as a story like this happened in McLean a few years back. We’re going in circles. I’m glad this guy is being hauled off to jail. In my personal experience, it’s different than parents being distracted near a pool drowning. Lots of drownings are very silent as a kid disappears under water. I never hired Knick knack, but had he stopped playing music, the whole purpose of the hiring and disappeared, someone would of noticed he was gone, as music stopped. I don’t see it, maybe you do. I’m done with this conversation.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I tend to believe that even if you’re personally distracted, so many parents are there, that someone is always watching entertainer. These stages are not open predatory places where that would occur. I’m not being snarky, because you we’re respectful in the way you approached the question with me, but have you been to these shows? My experience is that even if you’re distracted, so many people are watching performer.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:What is wrong with you? Mr Knick knack is his own person who derailed his life, ended his career, and is going to jail for a crime he committed, as he should. You say, ‘they operate’ as if it’s an epidemic in this community of entertainers. We hear about a different teacher or coach every week, and it sucks to hear about, but we’ve heard about one performer doing this, in the decades I’ve lived in Northern Virginia. You are speculating that all men in this industry are predators and it’s unfair. Most men are not perps in this world.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Mr. KK played a private birthday in our backyard. My creep alarm went off immediately. At the time, I thought I was overreacting, but I asked my husband to immediately go over there and supervise.
They hide in plain sight and I absolutely believe he developed tricks over the years. Would not be shocked if inappropriate touching occurred with my daughter before I noticed the situation in my own backyard full of kids and parents.
Everyone here should see exactly how they operate “in plain sight”. We’re not having our kids in the same space with these creepy men. Just not worth the risk these days. Child porn is all over. Investigators can’t keep up.
Current child sex assault does seem to be mostly in the public schools. I would absolutely agree.
But please admit it’s vital that if you bring kids to these shows, it’s easy to become distracted, especially when you have 2 or 3 children with you, including a babe in arms. Parents and caregivers must be vigilant. You simply can not assume it’s a safe space.
Mr Knick knack is one person, but it’s unfair to paint the whole industry as a bunch of perverts. We’ve had the same entertainer in our living room for the past 3 bday parties, and my daughter has requested him again this year.
Your assumption that someone at the party must be watching even if some parents are not is exactly the reason why little kids drown in backyards during parties and big family gatherings.
He may very well be and could of leaped to that, or was planning on it, and it’s great that he got caught.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Nope, not a perp, but since this is a forum where we can agree and disagree, I have that right as you do to voice an opinion. Reposting this for 21:13. Investigators know that this stuff often takes time for families to come forward. It’s often extremely difficult.
Someone would have pressed charges by now or gotten word out, so he couldn’t harm anyone else. He’s going to jail, and he should for the horrible crime he committed, but to the posters that it’s an ideal place for him to hurt a kid, it’s not isolating enough for him, and I don’t think any other charges come out. Time will tell.
Listen my friend, are you a perp? Because you certainly sound like one. At this point, you should zip it. You are doing yourself no favors here. Believe me.
With all that illegal child porn, you don't think Rossi was interested in some actual experience?

Women simply do not sexually assault young children.
I believe that’s a fact.
....At least I’ve never, ever heard of a woman sexually assaulting a young child. Have you? Why is it seemingly an epidemic that so many men are sexually assaulting young children? Does the normalization of porn have anything to do with it? Why are so many gay men sexually assaulting young boys?
Children deserve to be safe from these evil predators.
Don’t you think?
