I was wondering about this too.
Is Metro United actually happening? Are they not releasing information because they don’t have it?

Yes all the area’s coaches are threatened by MU’s positivity. That’s right..,

I posted that big rosters and play ups were hurting Spirit and I was right. Now MU wants to change that.
Now I say show the roster and coaching slate. I'm right about that too. I would love to be able to come back on here and say that has been solved too. For now, it's all a big secret. Transparency is the answer.
Let’s try it this way.
I click accept and you don’t click accept. I then email the coach and ask “who is on the roster?” Will he be able to tell me your DD is on the team?
That's fine. Email the people who accepted with whose on the team. Anything other than nothing.
Are you asking the same thing of other coaches who have offered your DD a spot?
Yep, other clubs can tell me who is on their roster. If MU says rosters will be released to players who accept offers by Friday, that's fine. Dragging this on forever isn't professional.
Those other clubs you mention are done with ECNL and DA tryouts.
MU still has several more ID Sessions this week. There is no way they know the rosters yet. They won't know Friday either because even if they make immediate offers after the Friday ID Session the soonest they would know the roster is Sunday.
I need to know because I can't wait until all other options have tried up. And I know I'm not the only one. We are already late as a club to be doing this. Let's all be honest. Most of the roster will comprise current players. So release the roster for the players you have.
If your kid is really talented then her options will never dry up.
Maybe. I've already been given extensions. But I won't drag this out forever. I wanted to give MU a chance to be different, to change. They have to show a sign. Townhall meetings are just words.
What age group are you looking for a roster?
Returning teams.

My daughter has great technical skills and they aren’t put to use here. And the girls I know they like and are getting offers, their parents may be nice and have worked the coaches, but these are some of the girls who consistently don’t pass, loose the ball and are part of the me vs team mentality. I can’t waste another year here.
