Well their parents say they are. That makes it true.

They are definitely the best at fighting eachother on the sidelines. The parents that is.

There was enough talent for both McLean and FCV to have strong HS age teams. Now NOVA ECNL is watered down. Your strongest club in NOVA is still FCV. McLean, BRYC, and VDA each have 1 really good team. McLean and BRYCs 1 really good teams are because of recruiting. VDA is because of development. Unfortunately for VDA they will eventually lose their best players to FCV, McLean and BRYC.

On May 1!

Why would those players leave for those clubs though? Didn’t vda just get into ecnl? Not trolling.

After 1 year with the DA.
Each team has 1 or 2 really good players. Parents want them to be on teams where they are being challenged.

So they would leave and go to teams they’re beating? Someone’s kid didn’t make a VDA on this forum.

The poster has an axe to grind with VDA. This guy is cheerleading FCV BRYC and McLean. The VDA 04 and 05, 06 group isnt leaving. Wishful thinking tho.

That being said, your comment is very insightful and that is not the first time I have heard such comments about MYS coaches. As a counter, I have spoken to non-ECNL coaches who compete against McLean and have respect for both coaches.

To be fair, I can't point to an ECNL coach who is recognized for developing players from the ground up. Hence, the reason most ECNL players come from outside the club. What most ECNL coaches do is take talent, win showcases and prepare players for college. It is hard to argue that anyone does this better than MYS.

Look at how many kids started at the club and end up having their signing day there. That helps with who develops. There might be one with McLean from the start. Who said they don’t deserve respect? What’re you looking for? Multiple posters have said the same thing. Clyde is great and Nadir has had success. We will see how they do in the new landscape. No denying their past success.

What is your point? Do you want to heR everyone talk about great your dd’s coaches are? That’ll never happen here. Better question might be who the best girls coaches are in the area.

If you ask the question who is the best girls coach it has to come in questionaire form.
Example;
1. What Coach is best for ages U9
2. Who coaches possession best
3. Who coaches form
Pick a coach not the club. Clubs are businesses. Your kid is just dollar signs. Every player is replaceable, not every coach.

Pick a club that will take care of your player and help them develop. If you pick a coach, you might be looking for a new team every year.

Would love to know of a club that takes care of the player. Some clubs are so desperate to win they have retracted every promise made to parents and players. Recruiting seems to be their number one priority.
