I find it unbelievable, to say the least, that the U.S. is supposed to pay for all of the medical attention these people need. Many of them arrive at the border extremely sick, and then our Border Patrol is blamed when they die in custody - as if we were responsible for them getting sick in the first place. Why isn't Mexico stopping these people and treating them rather than allowing them to continue to our border?

American Government and people are dumb. And Democrats promote illegal crossing by saying no humans are illegal or no need for borders/ICE etc . Democrats are destroying America.

Asylum laws are part of international treaties. The fact is, we HAVE to deal with asylum seekers. The question is, should they be detained, with children separated from their mothers, or is there a better solution? Just saying "America is closed, don't come" isn't a solution and it isn't realistic.

Trump turned it down because Democrats wanted amnesty for DACA and (DAPA ) parents of DACA, the lawbreakers.
