I think it’s both.

Annoying actor, from day 1. Very fake and precious.

The kid of Eddie and Katharine is a very annoying actor. I can’t tell if it’s more bad writing or an annoying actor.

I’m finishing up the season. I really hope Katherine finally leaves.

There are many unbelievable things that happen to these characters but it's a nice change from predictable sitcoms. No?

The show returned this week for the second half of the season and is even more unbelievable.

So this weeks episode wasn’t horrible. Surprisingly. Maggie has got to go though.

I tried to watch the last episode tonight and I just kept looking at my phone, so boring

And rather than return the trunk Vomit Maggie and her roommate keep it and use the contents.

This whole season is slow and there's no tension in sight. Eddie relapses? Whatever. Darcy has PTSD? Convenient. Romeo and Regina reconciled? Took them long enough. I can't even make snide comments while watching, it's so lame.

What waste of talent of Chris Geere, what's her name's flatmate, Jamie or Logan (?)

I was so hopeful that the drama was over with Eddie since they resolved the accident storyline, but nope, now it’s time for the relapse story. I think the only reason I keep watching this is because I’m so attached to James Rodriguez from his Psych days.

I think I'm done with this show. Maybe it's because 2020 sucks so bad, but it's just too overwrought for me now.

I just discovered this show, and now this thread. I couldn't make it through the first season. It is a "good looking" show that seems to fly on what appears to be a high production value and some charming qualities. But in the end it just isn't enough to makeup for the lazy writing and uneven acting. This thread about the show is far more entertaining and makes a lot more sense!

Could be drowned girl's father, which would be easy and lazy writing (par for the course) but this show makes plotlines overly complicated, too. So I'll put out there the idea that the girl's father accidentally killed her that night and is trying to stop Eddie from nosing around in the past. He called 911 because he felt remorse but not enough to give the dispatcher his name.

I mean. This show is just too much now. It was always bad but now it’s just soap opera level.
