The OP has come back a few times to update. She actually married the guy. We just like her story and appreciate the updates.

Bobcat girl married
Uber driver did a long AMA and was on a hustle — I think he married too.
OP married the widow and things went well, everyone gave her advice on how to engage with kids.

Yes, it does happen, but this story it's fake, it's the pattern of the storytelling that points to it being fake not the subject matter.

My maternal grandmother married my widowed grandpa. My mom was 6 and her mother 32 with 3 young kids when she passed away from ovarian cancer.
My grandma took on 3 kids under 6 and went on to have one with my grandpa. She was a wonderful and caring woman and I did not even know until high school that she was not my 'biological' grandma. You could not tell that one child was her biological and the rest were step-children. Her love was huge.

I know I'm getting well ahead of myself but I really like him yet I'm nervous that it could be far more than I can handle.
If you are 120 percent against having your own kids then great! If you want kids - double down in your own (other) dating options.
