Wow, really? In what world are Prep's lax recruit colleges not a great list of schools? Dartmouth, North Carolina, Georgetown, Virginia, Navy, Colgate. Those are all great schools and hard to get into these days. There are plenty of STA top students who end up at those schools as well.

"excellent colleges" is a bit of a stretch, even for Prep.

What are you talking about? They won the regular IAC by going undefeated. They may have lost in the first round of championship tournament, but they won the regular IAC by beating all the teams. That’s far better than STA has done. Not to mention their kids and program are so good that have 11 grads recruited for lax to excellent colleges.

And still theyve accomplished zilch in the last 5 years

Landon has 8 seniors who will play in college next year. You missed Oberlin and Ohio Wesleyan.

STA has a LOOOOONNNNNG way to go and likely will never get there. Serious players are just better off at the other schools, especially since Prep and Landon are so strong academically. They’re the best of both worlds.

Not to mention that Princeton, Harvard, and Penn are more impressive than Brown.

The STA Brown recruit actually committed while he was at Sidwell. STA had nothing to do with that kid's growth. He did it on his own thru clubs.

Silly post and the poster is pretty obvious.

Word is Heeter is trying to push college recruiting as he get that it will help build the schools program. Hope his club doesn’t start charging college counseling fees like the bloke across the river!

Perspective people. Landon, Prep, Zaga and Bullis are some of the best teams in the nation. They should have 10 of more recruits per year. St. Albans averages 1-2 per year including D3. Definitely pales in comparison to the teams just mentioned. But if you compare that with all high schools with lacrosse programs across the nation, 1-2 per year is damn impressive. Someone from my high school in Vermont committed to play D3 and there were newspaper articles and even a tv interview that took place. It was that big a deal.

The one STA kid going to Brown trumps several schools who are sending multiple players to play in college

Nothing, huh? Well, I do know that STA has 1, maybe 2. While Gonzaga has 12 and Prep has 9. Big difference, that's what I do know, and that's the point. Sorry.

In comparison:

Gonzaga has 12 (Princeton, Johns Hopkins, North Carolina, Tufts, Penn State, Trinity, Furman, Lafayette, St. Joseph's, and Colorado College).

Prep has 8 (Dartmouth, North Carolina, Virginia, Navy, Georgetown, Villanova, Colgate, Fairfield).

Landon has 6 (Harvard, Tufts, Colby, Colorado College, Richmond, and Gettysburg).

Bullis has 6 (Penn, Colgate, Washington, Towson, Jacksonville, and Hamden-Sydney).

St. Stephens/St. Agnes has 5 (North Carolina, Penn State, UMBC, and Hamden-Sydney).

SJC has 3 (Air Force, McDaniel, and UMBC).

Episcopal has 1 (Duke).

Work on your research. STA has a kid going to play lax at Washington & Lee. You know nothing.
