His choice of words are poor. Trump is an old man without much oratory skills. But do you honestly believe his fury was towards Coats? His gripe is towards the intelligence people who are investigating him.
And Senator Paul made another good point -- only the usual Neo-cons and anti-trump republicans are once again coming out against the president.

Like everything else Rand Paul says, that is wrong.
Republicans breaking with Trump over the Puton comments include:
Paul Ryan

Kevin McCarthy
John McCain
Lindsey Graham
Pat Toomey
Jeff Flake
Tim Scott
Ben Sasse
Bob Corker
James Lankford
Orrin Hatch
Trey Gowdy
Adam Kinzinger
Will Hurd
Bob Goodlatte
Justin Amash
Ed Royce
Liz Cheney
Peter Roskam
Elise Stefanik
Frank LoBiondo
Mitt Romney
Newt Gingrich
I give you that there are the usual neverTrumpers on that list, but there are plenty of TrumpHumpers as well.
Their statements were not strong enough. They will roll over and be back to Trumphumping tomorrow.

Rand Paul just announced a trip to Moscow. Maybe he is going to defect?
Rand Paul has a point.
The point being that he and his dad have taken Russian money for their "institute" and are as complicit at Trump?
So it's not a big deal because any country that has the opportunity to meddle does...
Wow!
The point is Trump has been under partisan investigation by Obama’s intelligence people for two years. Of course he didn’t trust Comey, Brennon, McCabe, Strozk. CNN kept equating those bad actors with current intelligence leadership such as Coats and Pompeo. Senator Paul never fell for CNN’s trap.

Sounds like you're paying as much attention to Coats as Trump is.
Coats: "the warning warning lights are blinking red"

Look at Trump’s actions; they are those of an autocrat, a strongman. He has no interest in democratic norms, or the agencies that support and defend these norms. He and his administration have been undermining our government from day one. So why not team up with Putin? They want the same things.
So clearly you’re blind to reality. Trump is a Traitor period.
I agree he is a traitor; I just don’t think there is a pee tape or whatever.
There may not be a pee tape, but there is something, probably financial related.
