Miranda should hate her life at Big Law. She should be sick of the sexual harassment and being screwed over by male partners. She should be sick of her bartender husband who contributes nothing financially. She should be stressed out by NYC private schools and kid drama. She should be 10 pounds overweight, and she should wear yoga pants and athleisure.
The brunette should be uber stressed out about NYC private school drama. She should be engaged in mommy wars. Sexless marriage. Her husband should be cheating. She should have a fling with her ex in a moment of weakness and get pregnant. Then he should tell her he's gay.
Big should be struggling with alcohol and opioid addiction due to his old man back pain. His business ventures are failing, and they need to downsize and cut back. Carrie grapples with having to move into a one bedroom walk-up with only one closet and having to be nursemaid to old man Big. Lots of whining about how this wasn't the life she signed up for. Aiden is very successful and happily married with a handful of kids. Carrie reads about him in a profile in Architectural Digest, and she's shocked that he is ridiculously wealthy with homes all around the world. She runs into him on the street with his oldest child and she wonders what her life would be like had she stayed with him and had kids.
Samantha is MIA throughout the entire film. There are references to her through phone calls and media coverage of her glamorous life. She's too busy traveling and dating an A list actor (think: Pierce Brosnan/George Clooney). Sadly, 2/3 of the way through the movie she dies in a car crash thanks to paparazzi (a la princess Di). The girls come together for the funeral and take stock of where they are, whine about their boo hoo problems, and ultimately realize that Sam lived her life to the fullest to the very end...and only the good die young. They make a pact to put themselves first and agree to dump their husbands. Carrie moves back to her old apartment, Miranda gets a rental in the city, and the brunette still has her fabulous apt.
The gays make an appearance near the end of the film. They're happily married with children and have a perfect NYC life. Thx girls are a little disappointed that the gays aren't up for partying, and for a moment they wonder if they made a mistake. Nonetheless, they preservere and continue to go shoe shopping and have brunch...just the girls (who are now old ladies), single and "fabulous."

It's really strange that you know enough of the details/subplot lines to take the time to write this all out but can't even remember/be bothered to look up Charlotte's name.

First of all, I cannot say how much of an amazing human Kristin is. My mother got seriously ill during shooting one year, I had taken two weeks off during filming and she was the one person who sent flowers to me and she wrote me this amazingly kind note. I STILL send her holiday cards. She's just a lovely, lovely person.
Kim was extremely professional. I think that's exactly how I would describe her. She isn't the character. She's much more reserved. She was quiet and she was kind. She (and Kristin) was actually the easiest to tailor for since her proportions didn't buck common fabric cutting too much. She was taller, though. One fun fact: they used capris a lot because we often had pants that were too short. Pat just decided to turn them into capris.
How many years did you work on the show? Was it daily, full time or seasonal work when they were shooting?
What were your favorite outfits? Likes and dislikes?
I worked on the show for about 6 years. I actually was Pat's employee and she eventually had me doing more and more work on set. So, I was a production subcontractor essentially.
In terms of clothes, my favorite thing I got to work on was Kristin's wedding dress when she got married the first time. I also did all of the kilts (everyone, including Kyle McLaughlin, wore boxer briefs, fwiw).
I loved working for Pat, but decided to move in a different direction and went to grad school in Chicago. I work in PR now. Years later, I'm just another harried working mom in Fairfax with kids.
I do make excellent Halloween costumes, though

Do tell. Tell me some costumes you've made! (I sew too and formal wear and Hallowe'en are hands down my favourites.)

There was no need for SJP to be public and no one buys that she could not get in touch. She has access everywhere and if Kim didn’t answer so what. She just lost her brother. If a reporter asked SJP about Kim’s brother’s death it would be fair to say it was said and that she reached out but publicly making an Instagram post so the world knows affirmatively that you checked the box is weird. Have a feeling the first answe if Kim saying Thanks was a publicist and then Kim got to the Instagram with a oh hell no!!

Ho, KC made the Instagram post about her brother dying.

Really? Because Cattrall seems to be the one who keeps raising it. Piers Morgan, Instagram..
Yeah, that was all prior to her brother being missing, then found dead, then SJP's public condolences, then Cattrall's lashing out. Keep up.
What has SJP been saying since the instagram thing? I have been googling and have found not a single comment from SJP about any of it since Cattrall went off on her. How is she not letting it go?
You said Cattrall "keeps raising it." Not true.
After the "Instagram thing," neither of them has said anything.
BEFORE Kim's brother died/"the Instagram" thing, they were both saying things all over the place. For months. For years, actually.

"Hawaii Five-O," really? Really.
A starring role in a hit HBO series pays quite well -- comparable to a big movie role. Things have changed since the 1990s.
A guest spot on Hawaii 5-0 doesn't pay so well though.
No one is arguing that Willie Garson is A-list, but just looking at imdb he has been working steadily and continues to work. Would he like the SATC3 money? Probably, but it's not like he is destitute without it.
A-list? I think you mean C-list and that is being generous.
Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie, Beyonce, Reece Witherspoon are a few examples of A-list. I don't think Willie Garson is in the same league in terms of talent or fame. I am not a fan of SJP but even she qualifies as an A- or B+ list.
