As a former PA, I can tell you with certain FACT that Bravo pays for every single one of the housewives trips.

They act like the idea of going away is just brought up by one of the ladies non chalantly during the season & they all decide right then and there that they can go, when in actuality these trips are scouted, planned & scheduled prior to the season even starting to film

The ladies are welcome to pay for extra outings of they'd like, but every single activity, meal & minute has to be planned & approved by Bravo prior to the trip.

They SAY they host or pay for it themselves so we the viewer never forget how "wealthy" they are, when in actuality, the majority of these women complain about everything (Ramona) yet never pay a single DIME of their own ever.

It's one of the reasons I'm no longer a PA... the out of control entitlement and the complete lack of appreciation & sense of common decency is disgusting and appalling.

There are always 1-2 exceptions on every cast who are down to earth, kind hearted & appreciative (Dorinda, Ashley Darby, Lisa Vanderpump, etc.) but the majority of these women act like they're A list celebrities, they're so delusional.
They talk down to everyone, speak rudely to people who work in the service industry, are very demanding & yet, they want to be treated as if they're Hollywood royalty.

In actuality though, they're really just egocentric women who are terrified of aging, filled with far too much botox, fillers, plastic surgery & enormous egos.

Definitely overpriced to start with, then she had ridiculous restrictions on showing the house, plus all of this tax lien stuff that surely they knew about adding to the desperation for a sale. Put it all together and you have all of the ingredients for a fire sale and a perfect opportunity for a cash buyer to lowball the crap out of them and they had to take it because there was no other option on the table. No wonder Karen ran off to Bermuda and made Ray do the entire move on his own.

That's what I originally thought, but then we had Karen and Charrisse arguing over who was actually "hosting" the trip. And Charrisse's upgrade to the ostentatious suite. If Bravo paid, why were all the women thanking Karen (and Charrisse) for hosting?

I want to be friends with Ashley and Monique. Karen is the worst but her daughter seems very well rounded

Why would she have to steal, beg, or borrow. You sound judgmental if not ignorant. Her husband earned millions of dollars and failed to pay the IRS their share. The IRS didn't get their money because Karen most likely spent it in silly crap like Chanel bags.

Charisse did say on the boat that she paid more to charter the boat than Karen's entire net worth. And she upgraded her room on the trip. Her comment makes it seem like she did pay for the boat but if I were to guess I would say it was Bravo paying. Maybe she paid for the room upgrade.

I'm no fan of Karen's (to say the least), but I do love her updated hair in the cutaway interviews. Dark, glossy brown, elegant long bob. Very nice. Too bad she didn't have it like that during the actual filming.

I respect Karen. I just saw an interview where she hashtags herself as a ride or die and says the reunion explains why she sold her house. I think she sold it so her husband could pay his lien.
