She is a definite wannabe.
Her purses tells the story -
All last season she carried that same big Tory Burch nylon tote everywhere. Nice bag, but certainly not an everyday bag. I have one like that and I use it for the gym.
This season she got herself a big girl purse and they show her every episode with that same LV bag. Again, nice bay but not an everyday bag.
Just curious as I am not into purses--what should she carry as an everyday bag?
If Bravo paid, why were all the women thanking Karen (and Charrisse) for hosting?

Wow! I also didn't realize how much under asking they got for the home. Was it a short sale or wildly overpriced? Or both?
Very interesting! Surely Karen must have known this would all come out. How mortifying.
Definitely overpriced to start with, then she had ridiculous restrictions on showing the house, plus all of this tax lien stuff that surely they knew about adding to the desperation for a sale. Put it all together and you have all of the ingredients for a fire sale and a perfect opportunity for a cash buyer to lowball the crap out of them and they had to take it because there was no other option on the table. No wonder Karen ran off to Bermuda and made Ray do the entire move on his own.
I can't understand how Ray is so good to her - you'd think he'd be furious that she paid for that very expensive vacation to Bermuda for all her friends, right in the midst of their financial crisis.
I'm pretty sure Bravo pays for these trips.

Hmmmm I just saw her in an episode with a black Chanel jumbo flap bag.
She must have got that one from bag, borrow, steal!
Wow
Why would she have to steal, beg, or borrow. You sound judgmental if not ignorant. Her husband earned millions of dollars and failed to pay the IRS their share. The IRS didn't get their money because Karen most likely spent it in silly crap like Chanel bags.

They do. Every trip Bravo foots the bill. Bravo is the host, not one or two housewives.
