Why would I make this stuff up? Fine, I'm a newer SAHM. I didn't just quit my job yesterday but I feel it is still new to me. We had our PT housekeeper when I was still working. She stopped working for us last month. That is true.

I think you are referring to me. I don't think it is all these moms. We can easily afford help so I am going to take it. I only have 2 kids now and it is already hectic.
I understand this is a luxury. This thread has made me really appreciate my DH. He deserves a big hug and kiss when he gets home from work.

All these SAHMs who think they need "FT help" are absurd. If you seriously can't handle 3 kids, then don't have them. A baby can hang out and play during homework and go along to activities. That is family life.
Of course, I also think it's absurd and wasteful to have a 7000 sf home unless you have about 15 people in your family, so maybe I'm just old fashioned.

I should also add that in our household, DH is the better cleaner. He never leaves dishes in the sink. DH is a little obsessive with the clean house. When we were childless, we had cleaning service and rarely ate at home so there were no dishes to wash and it was usually DH who did the dishes even back then.

I simply cannot comprehend how dishes pile up. You people are pigs, which comes as no surprise as I've seen the inside of some of your homes and this is even when you are expecting guests, God knows what an unexpected visitor would have to witness. You cook, and put dishes in the dishwasher and wipe off the surfaces.
Even when I cook dinner, I clean as I go. If a pan is used, it gets soaked immediately. If I'm boiling pasta, I give it a quick rinse and put it away, before dinner is on the table.
Actually our home is pretty clean. We have almost 7000 sf. The kitchen is the room that get the most use. I didn't say it piled up every meal. I'm just saying that it takes more than 2 minutes to load the dishwasher.
