PP here-I am not giving up my values really-I am pro gay marriage, pro choice, anti illegal immigration, think something needs to be done about welfare-like major reforms (and no goodies for illegals), I think we need to help educate and support our OWN citizens, including children, homeless, vets, mentally ill, physically ill etc...before we start dropping millions of dollars on other countries. I think in order to help[ combat Terrorism, we need to really screen Muslims (the ones here already) and investigate Mosques (there are plenty of sleeper cells currently operating within our borders), and have a temporary ban on Muslim immigration to the US, like the one Trump proposed (and like Carter had in the 1970's). I also think our borders need to be secured-tightly. If we want to help the disadvantaged from 3rd world countries, I am all for it. Empower them in their OWN countries so they can sustain themselves in their OWN countries. Taking in Syrian refugees, for example does nothing except drain our resources, and nothing to help their OWN country. I think all the PC bullshit that is so rampant everywhere, will destroy this country, and the Black Lives Matter movement is nothing more than a smokescreen. Americans need to get up, wake up and work hard to improve themselves and this county. Hiding behind excuses of being victimized, and "offended", and kept down by the big bad "white man" is getting old. I like Carson more than Trump-but either would have my vote. Obama (whom I ignorantly voted for with such high hopes), has proven to be a disaster for this county....a MAJOR disaster. I sure hope Trump can make America great again-not too sure anyone else running right now is fully up to the task.

+1 Donald Trump is not a perfect candidate, but HRC is even worse. She has no new ideas from Obama. Trump tells it like it is. Close to 100% terrorist attacks are committed by Muslims, we need a temporary ban.

Be honest, you are a single issue voter, not a Democrat

I could care less whether I should label myself a Democrat. I have voted mostly democratic. We need an outsider this time around.

Then don't start your post with "I am a lifelong Democrat"

That's why I'm voting for Pee Wee Herman.

No, Deez Nuts. He was actually on a ballot. Hoping to see him in 2016.

Well I guess it depends on how you define a terrorist attack. The kid who shot up the black church in SC was a terrorist in my book.

I weep for our Nation under Obama. Extricated from two unwinnable and frivolous wars so we can retool our beleaguered military. Devestating depression averted. Auto industry stabilized. Housing market rebound. Stock market flirting with 18,000. Unemployment in the decline. Economy growing. Are things perfect? No. Could circumstances be improved? Certainly. But it requires that Congress legislate.

All of the haters say our country is destroyed by Obama, yet when asked for details can give none. Except to deplore the people in rural America. Who incidentally, have been in bad shape for many, many years, and for whom the Republicans have done exactly squat. That is not Obama's doing. History will be the one to accurately judge, and I am pretty sure he will will do quite well.

How do you reconcile the Republican objectives and actions with regard to the bolded?

np, life isn't all or nothing. Neither party is 100% on track for every issue. You pick and choose what is most important to you individually and society as a whole.

Yet, you listed those as your values, which by definition, are important to you. There is nothing on there that has not been done by the Republican part (on the negative side), and there is nothing on there that the Republican party has given a clear, workable plan on. So I remain confused about your stance.

Yes because your average Obama voter was a Rhodes Scholar. The majority heard that they'd get a free "Obama Phone" if they voted for him.

How do you reconcile the Republican objectives and actions with regard to the bolded?
