We are concerned because our child is asking about this person in our family and we are resistant to telling her a version of the truth (child friendly version) because she won't be able to discern who to tell and not tell...because she wouldn't see the shame in the story. I imagine it is similar to your situation...NOT that your situation is shameful but I imagine you don't want her innocently telling other kids and then SHE is judged or misjudged or talked about, etc. Does this concern you?
