Who the fuck on this thread has said that gifted kids don't exist? Pardon the language, but this statement, and others like it that you have made, are really outrageous.
You must be stupid as heck to think that flat-out lying like this is a valid rhetorical strategy.
People hate parents of gifted kids like you. This is because so many of you seem pretty stupid and have awful behavior.
Lady, you have become unhinged.

It's only a "waste of your time" because you clearly don't get it. Clearly you were never a gifted child yourself, nor are you the parent of a gifted child. Essentially, the situation for a G&T child would be like putting a high school student into a 4th grade classroom and expecting him to get something productive and useful out of it. Good luck with that.
This is quite unbelievable. I say this only because I feel I have to: I was tagged gifted, I'm a national merit scholar, and my kids are both in magnet programs. I have experience; you don't want to hear it. So you resort to that stupid old canard about my kids and me being stupid.
Boy oh boy. You are not only manipulative, you're a rude ASSHAT. I feel sorry for your kids with a parent who is so obviously an ASSHAT as you are.
Over and out.
I'm not the first pp, but your experience does not make you an expert nor does it justify the use of absolute statements.
Yes, we get it. Those of us with older gifted kids are either (a) trolls, (b) really stupid and just lying about having gifted kids, or (c) not qualified to talk on DCUM because ... why was that? Oh, right, you say that DCUM is not a democracy and you folks with precocious four-year- olds get to decide whose experience is valid and whose isn't.
Got it.![]()
There is such anger about gifted kids. Some people just continue to insist they don't exist and get very angry that they do.

What the heck are you talking about?

Please listen: you do a huge disservice to gifted kids and gifted programs with this anti-social behavior. Yes, my kids are in magnets and I support magnet education. You make lots of us cringe when you claim to represent parents of gifted kids.
You do know that you are arguing with several posters on this thread?

Anonymous wrote:So national merit scholar, two kids in magnet, "my kids are just very bright not truly gifted and none of your are truly gifted either", "gifted kids never get bored" mom, is that same crazy poster? She does sound like she has an axe to grind. Any chance she is also chipotle mom?

You know, there was a poster last year who posted continually on every AAP thread with increasingly angry posts, often including comments about suing fcps or organizing class action lawsuits on behalf of the kids (hers) who did not get accepted to AAP. Very similar tone to the writing. A hybrid of bored troll, and whacko, out of control bitter mom. I wonder if it is the same person.
Wow. Just wow. You should seek help.
It is you! Welcome back! You give such a flair for the dramatic to many threads! Always interesting reading when crazy, angry, anti gifted mom comes into town to post!
