Tsarnaev: Boston Marathon attack was payback

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev left a note in the boat where he was captured, a law enforcement official said. It said the bombings were retribution for what he called U.S. attacks on Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq.

NP. This killing, in a sick way, psychologically could serve as a warm up to murdering & maiming an even larger group of people. Wouldn't surprise me if there's a series of additional violent events that occurred before the boxing friends killings. I had initially felt that this "kid" was led astray but now I believe he was quite emotionally damaged early on. He's just another example of a sociopath who had a talent for disguising the evil that lived in his heart.

Now authorities are investigating whether both brothers killed his brother's boxing friend and two others. They always suspected more than one person was involved in those murders. If Dzhokhar was involved in that too, do you still feel sympathy for him?

No, not NYC. They allegedly were originally planning to use the bombs in Boston on 7/4. The NYC thing doesn't seem to hold much weight and seems like an afterthought. Boston appears to have always been their main target.

I think this way any time a person has made a terrible choice, but he DID make the choice to kill innocent bystanders and blow other people's legs off. He also went about that task in a rather calm manner. Afterwards, he resumed some normal activities and didn't appear particularly remorseful, according to those who saw him or were with him. I think a cell with a slot seems appropriate.

He may get the death penalty or life. Isn't this basically what all terrorists and serial killers get?

Maybe they should let him run free in the yard of a state prison with the other inmates, I think that would be good for him.

Uh, no, he did not. Please try to read up on your country's history. It's important. There are various versions of "history for dummies" in circulation that might be helpful for you.

the winners always get to write history.
you could paint any war heroes potentially as terrorists. they all had a mission, they killed people to achieve it. those who won are heroes. those who lost were terrorists.

Sorry, anyone who's done an in-depth study of Washington's biography would be hard pressed to provide proof that the label of "terrorist" would be attached to him, even by his British contemporaries.
