They have not.
We can debate how great Reese is as a coach, but with that talent, legit anyone can lead them to a championship.
I think the key for MV is get someone with name recognition to keep selling kids to come there.
I do expect some 28s or 29s on JV to look at other options because it can be clear now that PT is just not there for them.

Highlight capable but never does anything dumb or selfish.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Ha, fair point on the nepotism. Not saying they aren’t great players but it sure does break ties.
Personally, I don't think it should be a tie. MV 2028 has a large impact all over the field and can put up as many points on offense as nepo-pick. The other girls is a great player but is a lot more flash than impact IMO.
Agreed! Whenever we play her, she does not noticeably stand out. I only notice her because I am trying to watch her to see what the hype is all about.

What team is this player on?

Maryvale is generationally good. The top 2026 based on the experts but I expect they also have the top 2028 as well. Mcdonogh keeping it within 2 in regular season is as close as anyone will come.
I predict running clock by 4th qtr.
Mcdonogh is much better than SPSG and I think this one is over by 3rd qtr too.
McDonogh is far more vulnerable to a surprise upset than MV - but they really should win that game without a ton of trouble.
