Clear Areas: Help clear sidewalks and bus stops in your neighborhood.
Plan Ahead: Allow extra travel time and plan your route to school.
Accompany Students: Walk bus riders to stops, use caution, and ensure they are dressed warmly.
Share Rides: Share rides when possible and look out for pedestrians, as some may be walking in the street due to uncleared sidewalks.
Be Patient: Bus drivers may need extra time navigating narrow streets. Remember that buses cannot back up.

I think it’s a good call. We are walkers and our sidewalks are treacherous. An Amazon truck got stuck at the top of our street today

Hopefully finally getting a high of 32 Monday will help the salt melt more of this ice that is covering sidewalks.

That’s the issue. It’s not getting warm for two weeks. So while I agree it’s not great, I’m not sure this is the way to go, especially at the end of the semester.

I thought they'd be out plowing more around me in S Arlington, but I haven't seen that at all. Roads and sidewalks are a disaster. Can't imagine it'll be any better by Tuesday to be honest.

None of these sidewalks are going to be clear on Tuesday and the county doesn’t enforce the sidewalk ordinance.

I usually don’t really care about this stuff but this is a steaming pile of incompetence and mismanagement.
