Because Trump was too busy on 9/11 bragging incorrectly that Trump Tower was now the tallest building in NYC.


Also, vilifying Muslims and lying about them.

Honestly, I feel that he does not, and has never had any intellectual curiosity. All Trump is interested in, is figuring out how to line is pockets. Anything else is just noise.

Donald Trump and his team clearly went to Davos determined to demean and insult their hosts. It was, one might say, a novel approach to diplomacy: “You’re pathetic, your societies and economies are falling apart, now give us Greenland.”

And it worked about as well as you’d expect. Trump may have imagined that the Europeans would cower in the face of his wrath. Instead, they humiliated him. He dropped his latest tariff threats in return for a “framework” that gave the United States essentially nothing it didn’t already have — and left behind a Europe that is finally united in resistance to his bullying.

The Trump team went to Europe in a state of malign ignorance, exemplified by Trump saying during his Davos harangue that “without us, you’d all be speaking German.” Most Swiss speak … German.

He's a fossil relic of an era where people did not have the internet in their pockets, to fact check and see him lying in realtime. And he's so far gone mentally that he actually thinks he's getting away with his lies and nobody's the wiser. But we all see right through it. That is, except for mindless low-IQ MAGA masses who never fact check anything.

But that's not even the biggest sin here - it's him putting such incredible, disgusting disrespect on brave soldiers who fought, sacrifice and died alongside us. Our brothers-in-arms. Trump spits on their graves.

That can not be forgiven.


And yet, many of his supporters are in the military. I will never understand how they could EVER have supported him after his McCain comments and the suckers and losers comment.

Yes. The graft of the Trump administration is astonishing. I would love to see the trades made by Trump's inner circle over the last 48 hours. The TACO trade is making these billionaires billions more. And it's emblematic of the complete failure of our political system. The Founding Fathers never envisioned that Americans would choose a deplorable like Trump to be president - twice.
