PP attacked the poster's knowledge on the subject being discussed. An ad hominem would have been to say "You are a typical libt*rd" or "You didn't even go to college!" or "Why should I listen to the opinion on god of someone who believes the earth is flat"?
It's pretty clear. See the difference?

Somebody said "we can measure electrical signals." So changes can be measured. Electrical signals are in the physical world.

But other people do believe in a higher power, gods, a God, or God. Their belief is just as valid and acceptable as not believing.
Post was not about proving anything. Or convincing anybody.
