That’s- a shame.

The New York Republicans completely screwed up and probably won’t have any candidate on the ballot against incumbent Democrat Pat Ryan, who represents a Trump-voting district - the 18th in the Hudson Valley. The Republican who filed lied about his address and didn’t properly register the signatures to get on the ballot, and is dropping out but those issues also affect his chosen replacement.

My prediction: Democrats will win back the House but won’t match the 40 seats they flipped in 2018. The support Trump got from young voters and Hispanic voters will crater. A few of the incumbent Republicans I’m most looking forward to waving goodbye to: Mike Lawler, Tom Kean Jr., and Scott Perry.
