Very strange about the interview questions. Nothing about Scientology tactics would surprise me. I could see her being recruited pretty easily, promised an escape from her current life/ family. I find this more plausible than the sex trafficking theory. I always thought if she left, it was willingly, at least at first.

Anonymous wrote:I have a different theory on the crew’s interest in her. I think they had been told to look for a female with a certain look. I think she fit the bill and it was a lot of money for them.
I agree with others about the family. I felt they tried too hard to come across as this super close, lovey family. I don’t think they murdered her, but their story doesn’t add up. Like someone else mentioned, I thought it was super weird they left the ship early. There’s no way I would have left. You would have wanted to talk with the FBI when you docked.
I find it interesting so many people discount the FBI analysis of the photos.
I also agree with others about the cruise director, he was an odd fish.

I think it was the door closing as she left. If she had screamed, others would have heard.
I didn't say "scream" I said "splash"

Why take her? I knew Any Bradley, she was not particularly attractive and would have been very difficult to control.
Jeepers, I did not expect that to be the first response to this thread! A bit harsh.
I was listening to the brother being interviewed on the radio earlier today, which led me to read about the story online. I had not really previously been aware of it.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to stomach watching the Netflix show but it sounds gut wrenching no matter what. The family is still holding out hope for closure of some kind.
DP: Why would it be wrenching to watch? Its not real footage. Its a spin on what the family think happened.
Most likely she fell off, thinking she was going into the bathroom or something. Remember that she had been drinking all night until about 4am. Its odd that her brother left her alone in the bar and came back to the room without her. Then they hung out on the balcony until 5ish am and AGAIN he left her out there? I cannot imagine leaving my drunk sibling on a cruise ship balcony alone.
That is a misrepresentation of what happened. She had had six beers across like 11 hours. And she was the older of the siblings.
6 beers for a woman is a lot. It doesn't matter how old she is or if she's older. You don't leave a drunk person on a balcony alone on a cruise ship.
“Over 11 hours” is a key part of the picture.
What's the source for that?
The bar tabs.
