We are all trying to keep it infrequent for now. Like once a month maybe? Maybe twice a month but not more than that.
If we abuse it, that will be the end.
Just take a sick day. We have plenty of those.

I don't know why people keep saying we have a ton of sick leave. We accrue one day a month. You can blow through that and your saved up hours quite quickly if we are required to take the whole day off for a one hour doc appointment. My kids get sick for like 5 days each time so that is 5 months of accrued sick leave gone. Then maybe another kid gets it. Then doc appointment for various things. You get the picture.
You can also use regular leave, which we accrue more quickly. You also can earn credit hours, although credit hours earned outside the office might be frowned upon without a good reason.

Anonymous wrote:And I have no idea why people are so entitled about telework. SEC employees have great jobs and lots of flexibility and earn a lot of leave. Please stop the whining. If you are not happy with the full-time in the office, find a new place to work.

When people have an appointment that would otherwise cause then to take the whole day off, yes. That's the ad hoc policy. I'm not sure why you keep asking.
