In which case, what would be the incentive for MYS to be intentionally misleading?
They left ECNL for the boys side to get MLSNext which leaves their girls with GA or most likely GA Aspire. They're being intentionally vague because they don't want to piss off a bunch of the girl parents by saying we went from girls ECNL (best league for girls) to GA Aspire which is a band new 2nd tier league.
Even the GA press release said that conference placement would be decided in the coming months. ECNL has their ID session the first week of March, all the top players will be signed up well before then. So be vague to try and pull as many players over and then be like "oh by the way, we're playing in GA Aspire, just like we said in our announcement" By then it will be too late for anyone to leave and they'll have full rosters
Quit spreading false information dude
If it’s false information then it is easily remedied. MYS please put out a clarification that you have both GA and Ass-pire. If no note is put out then you can assume they are pulling a fast one.
Ass-pire! Lmao

So ML is bringing his 2010 team to McClean GA...
Doubt this happens. Worse case the team gets fractured. Best case, they still lose a few if old coaches go back to MYS
Bring the old Union 2023-24 roster to Arlington, the only club that has its ish together apparently.

I never said that is what was happening, PP asked what would be their incentive to be misleading? Well their incentive would be to keep as many players as they could possibly get because that is all clubs care about. if clubs didn't care about the number of players they had they wouldn't have 22+ player rosters or 3rd, 4th and 5th teams - none of that screams "player development'
Yes, but the head-fake would last for about 5 minutes. Surely, no one is that dumb to think it will fly for longer than that and the market of parents and players will be like damn I didn't know this was for Aspire by the end of March. They thought of this right?
Every parent will ask at McLean tryouts and if McLean can’t say they are GA then families will know they are GAAspire.
