You don’t. Show up, teach as usual. Stop when you can and pick up the next class. Be flexible. Wed will likely be a snow day and you can adjust your plans later. It’s not that serious and doesn’t need to be that stressful. This is why I had to leave middle school. - hs teacher

Maybe learn to read a weather report. It will be 53 on Thursday. We’ll be back in school that day.
If we only get a little bit of snow, maybe. If we get more than a little bit, then one day of 40s or 50s won't magic the snow away in an afternoon. It will definitely make a lot of ice overnight though.
You do know that it’s going to rain on Wednesday night? And temperatures will be above freezing on Thursday morning.

I’m going to bet tomorrow becomes a senior skip day…
You forgot lunch. Where is lunch in your schedule?

Well, yes, today we had a 3 h early release. And we will have 7 all together this year, not including snow days. Are you even an fcps parent?
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I think they should just cancel.
Too many families will not pick their kids up early.
I have been through many early releases, and I’ve never had a student not get picked up.

Same. Honestly I hope this changes to a closure because this seems bad for the kids. It supposedly will be snowing when my MS kid comes home at noon.

No it says 1 pm.
