Those young women are surrounded by a sea of jubilant Hamas militants all in green headbands and masks. Clearly, the IDF has a lot more work to do. Hamas isn't even close to being eliminated. Until Palestinians depose these extremists, I don't see how this war ever ends.
And, the behavior of the Palestinian people was disgusting. They were trying to get to the Red Cross vehicle and I'm sure it wasn't to bid these young women a kind farewell.
Hasbara nonsense from Hate Inc.
Haven’t you fools figured out that your 1990s era games no longer work?

This stupidity and lack of education is why trumps in office.
Does Netanyahu suck. Ya. Is hamas a terrorist organization. Ya. A baby for a murder isn’t a fair trade even if it’s 90

Disgusting. Hostage taking is a war crime and here you are suggesting these victims be put through more. What a vile comment.

Hamas is masterful at media manipulation, which is why you never saw any imagery of deceased Hamas combatants in Gaza, only women and children. Hamas is only releasing hostages under the pressure of their losses, their staging of events like this notwithstanding. If they were not on the verge of complete annihilation, the hostages would not be released. As it is, 47K or so Palestinians are deceased, and Hamas gained no new territory, no new privileges, no separate country, and no respect.
That’s not the standard.
So what has Hamas accomplished? An opportunity for some new apartment buildings to be paid for with foreign aid? The creation of new parking lots in Gaza? An improvement is the business prospects for Gazan undertakers?
Dear Poster, I don't think this is the right question. I think it's less about what they were trying to accomplish and more about how desperate they felt to get the world to see their living conditions.

Hamas has shattered most of Israel’s stupid+self congratulatory myths. Israel has been tied in ridiculous knots by its response to Hamas, yet Hamas are a stronger fighting force than ever.
Better to ask yourself why Israel committed genocide while leaving Hamas intact. Sounds like a country with a death wish.

Many of the people released are people held under administrative detention. So many were not even tried, let alone convicted of anything.
The youngest is 15 years old. Just a kid. 69 of the 90 are women.
I don't know who they all are, but the Times of Israel link mentions that one of the women was arrested as part of "a crackdown on nonviolent political opposition". Two other women mentioned are the sister or wife of Hamas/PFLP members, but do not list what the two women themselves were in prison for.

Why do you think 3 for 90 is fair?
NP. I don’t think it’s fair at all given that the Israelis have 100x as many wrongly held persons. It should be 3 for 300!
You are comparing prisoners to civilians taken from a music festival. Shame on you.
