How do you know that, if Biden had been the candidate and lost, the waiter wouldn’t have punched a cut out of him? You are projecting.
Biden actually deserves to be punched for handing the 2024 election to Trump but I'm not going to encourage punching elderly people.
I encourage you to go back to May 2024 posts and see what the left was saying about Biden back then. He was literally the only man for the job, back then. The poor guy was being drug around like a reanimated corpse and if you dared to point out his slurred words or unsteady gait, you were a stupid racist Nazi. And now you want to punch him, for what? The entire base demanded that he stay in all the way up to the point when he ate it on stage at the debate. And even in the days afterward, the left was saying it was fine, everything was fine, just an off day.

She doesn't have the disposition or the fire to devote the next four years to running for president after a humiliating loss. You need to be a freak of nature to go through all that again - like Trump. That's not Harris. She's presumably intelligent and self-aware enough to understand that she does not have what it takes. She isn't driven by ego or by a passion for policy. She's an opportunist who had a nice career but finally hit her wall. I think she knows that. She has a comfortable life to fall back on. And that's what she'll likely do.
What do former VPs normally do? They don’t normally stay in elective politics. Dick Cheney. Al Gore. Dan Quayle. Walter Mondale.
They get on corporate boards, do public appearances and make some money.
I think Harris will get some no show job at the University of California that pays a lot.
Mondale had the same misfortune as Harris. He was VP of a very unpopular POTUS and lost his bid for The White House in much more of a landslide defeat than Harris because he was running against a legitimate POTUS candidate in Reagan while Harris was running against a terrible opponent in Trump. Biden deserves 99.9% of the blame for Trump's 2024 victory.
Biden deserves about 25% of the credit for Trump's 2024 victory.
FTFY.
99%. If Biden would have gotten the heck out of the way much sooner, we could have nominated a candidate with the stamp of approval from the American people and any normal candidate nominated in the proper manner would obviously destroy Trump.
Everyone is mad at Biden now, but don't forget how committed yall were to the narrative that he was totally lucid and competent. Any mention that Biden was not up to the task was met with attacks that the person saying it was "spouting right wing talking points." You wanted him bad, and you got him bad, and now you're going to blame him.

"Yall" who is "yall"? I can proudly say I never voted for Trump or Biden because people that have no business being POTUS shouldn't be POTUS. Can you honestly say the same?

Well, maybe he didn’t like the open border policy, b/c immediate competition's for his job, pushing down wages. Maybe not sexist at all, did you think of that ?Anonymous wrote:Yesterday at an office holiday party we had a cut out of Kamala Harris. (Long story, but the cut out was actually work related.) But here we are and Trump is going to be President. We Americans are on the whole, incredibly stupid people.
Pretty sure it's fair to say the average American voter IQ is much less than it was 20 or 30 years ago considering we've elected Trump, Biden, Trump in the past three elections. Nothing wrong with acknowledging this stupidity and trying to deal with it in advance of 2028 so that another Trump or Biden isn't elected.
This is the best the left has. They don't have any practical offerings, so they sell self righteous outrage and elitism. The idea that if you believe X that you are part of an inner ring of heardled geniuses is intoxicating.
You my friend probably voted for Trump or Biden in 2020 and therefore you are to blame for all this mess. Find a brain. 80 year old people don't make good presidents. This is not rocket science. A 1st grader could figure this out; why not you?
You're really obsessed with intelligence and shouting out into the void that you have the most. Congrats? But it's just not relevant to a political discussion. You lost. We won. I guess being the World's Smartest Political Party isn't actually working for you.

So what specifically are you saying the average (stupid) voter should have done in 2020, given the binary choice between Trump and Biden in the general election ?Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Not PP involved in this, but I am confused by this post. Yes, some people are smart enough to know that 80 year old people aren't our best options to serve in the most powerful and demanding position in the world.
