There’s a line with the mother of your kids and she crossed it.

His mood swings contributed. Jens team is going in. Too bad this still won't end in her favor.

There are vulnerability factors for Ben's sobriety, but it seems like he's managing well enough. The biggest threat to his sobriety is the media circus and tension of the divorce. How is it beneficial to insert the kids into that, especially in public?

It seems like he is more important than all of them. His daughter is going to college, he has two other kids and his ex wife and kids just revolve around this mess of a person. Jennifer Garner must still be in love with him because this is too much. All she does is support him. He needs to get his sh** together but he knows she will always be there no matter what he does. I actually don’t think that’s a good role model for her kids. She’s a doormat.
What evidence is there that his shit is not together? He has been working on a movie (Accountant 2). No evidence of relapse of any kind. Ok, he broke up with the person he got bored with, but he was clearly the one that broke up, it's not like JLO left him and he is heartbroken.
I don't quite understand why he needs so much help and support. I am really starting to think that JG relishes this role of his closest friend. Fine, but she is doing this for herself, not the kids.
He reached out to an old flame, had a public, whirlwind romance followed by a wedding. Bought an absurd house and is now divorced two years after getting married. He drags his kids through all this, JG (although I agree with you that she likes this, it isn’t for her kids). Every major event his kids have is a circus because of his mess. Yes he needs to get his sh** together. He’s selfish.
JG is way less of a saint than people paint her to be. She’s clearly codependent with him and likes this savior role. I find her behavior troubling.
So what? He had a failed relationship with another celebrity, I mean, not great, but not the end of the world, either. He is not going to settle and have a nice second family or, alternatively, be celibate till death. This is how it is going to go with him, he will have several more relationships for sure. But he is working, making money, paying attention to kids, and he seems sober. I think that's good enough and doesn't need some special 24/7 support from the ex-wife and her rushing to spend hours at his home. His kids are used to the all this by now. Their parents are famous actors and they have been facing celebrities and magazine covers for many years. Their father was doing much worse at several points in the past.
J-Lo is the one who needs support - she is heartbroken, publicly humiliated and facing several failures professionally. She is 55 yo woman and going downhill for sure. Ben is fine.
