The elitist attitude of a small group of tiger moms and small handed men who are vicariously living thru their kids is pathetic - ivy stanford mit duke or bust! I know large group of kids who have gone ivy and large group that have gone bucknell lehigh lafayette, and that latter group had and infinitely better college experience, and comparable level jobs. These are smart likable kids who become smart likable adults, and typically blow by the ivy nerds in terms of relationship, social, and career success

It is crazy. My best guess is there is inherent jealousy that kids can work hard play hard and enjoy themselves a bit socially and then have a good career. Anyone alumni I know from Bucknell and the patriot league schools are proud alumni and doing very well in their careers.

I wouldn’t read that much into it. It’s mostly just become a running joke because of one over the top poster.

Penn > Duke on the street, come on dog

yup and Cornell outcomes rival Princeton at many many BB firms - Cornell mafia is real on the street, and alive and well. If you don’t know this than you know nothing about the street

Agree that the first poster is incorrect. But Penn is not better than Duke, or at least not materially.

And now someone will post some pointless stats or the name of one or two famous senior finance people who went to one of the schools. Which is totally useless.

That is correct; but the kids from Drexel, Baruch and Bentley aren't likely to be doing the same jobs as the kids from Cornell, Georgetown, and Penn.
