They knew they were polling poorly with women of all races following Dodds, and following the rape conviction, but said they were going to add a Black man for every woman that they lost.
But Black and Latino people understand complicated racial identities, and this is not a an approach that is going to work to convince them they are welcome in today's GOP
Tell that to people like Tariq Nasheed, who has 367,000 followers on Twitter and was just on Don Lemon’s show yesterday.
There’s a lot of anti immigrant, homophobic, and xenophobic rhetoric coming from Black men like him, who have a big audience in the Black community. Trump’s speech was music to their ears.
