So you believe woman who discovers a catastrophic condition at 17 weeks for either herself or her fetus should be forced to carry it to 40 weeks? Is that what you are saying? Because that’s what I hear you say.
Who is discovering a ‘catastrophic’ condition at 17 weeks?
If you’ve had a baby in the last twenty years, you’d have known that all ‘catastrophic’ diagnoses are discoverable in the first 15 weeks now with current, widely available prenatal care.
Such a simpleton.
My friend has an abortion at 24 weeks because they spent weeks trying to get more tests and finding someone who could help them. But the situation was tragic and the fetus hopelessly deformed, missing much of its brain.

I think he’s up for whatever. Ladies’ choice!
Women should be able to get the medical care they need based on advice from their doctor, not ignorant politicians and judgmental religious whackos.
Women will help to get rid of trump as they should.

Very, very few conservatives believe that it's murder in all cases. And most are willing to compromise and make a 12 or 16 week total amnesty period to have abortions.
The leftists here are being clear with you. They will not compromise at all. They want abortion to be completely unregulated and consider any limitations for any reason at all to be a violation of women's rights. Women can and should be allowed to choose to abort for any reason at all, up til the point of birth, in their view. Take it or leave it. I used to be a democrat and eventually, I couldn't any more. On this and many other issues, I have moral lines that I'm not willing to cross.
Citation needed that “most” conservative politicians are willing to offer 16 week “amnesty”, because you seem to have made that up.
Here you go. Look at the Republican response graph. Only 20ish % respond that abortion should be illegal in all cases.

Nowhere does that say that a single Republican politician has agreed to 16 weeks, and in places where Republicans are in control fully, it’s been 6 and 10 weeks.

No, we don’t need to “smile more”.
