If you’ve had a baby in the last twenty years, you’d have known that all ‘catastrophic’ diagnoses are discoverable in the first 15 weeks now with current, widely available prenatal care.

My friend has an abortion at 24 weeks because they spent weeks trying to get more tests and finding someone who could help them. But the situation was tragic and the fetus hopelessly deformed, missing much of its brain.



Then your friend is an idiot. Or lied to you. Or isn’t real. Every free clinic in America has access to these tests. They are affordable and ubiquitous.

This is a lie.

Women in Europe can still get abortions after 15 weeks for health issues of mom or fetus.

And 15 weeks is enough time for the rest in Europe because of their socialized healthcare.

In Florida, the messaging on our proposed constitutional amendment is "limiting government interference with abortion."

The advocacy groups working on the issue did a lot of messaging testing and that's what people responded best to.

Most Americans believe abortion shouldn’t be regulated at all.
They don’t want limits placed on it.
Roughly 75% of Americans think up to 24 weeks for any reason,
25% think a 16 week ban is acceptable.
