Confirm my nuts. Junk posting

The same Union parents that looked down on Brave will now have to deal with Brave players on their teams. Any parents of current starters who either lose their starting spot or has their minutes reduced needs to show the new players and families the proper respect.
Pay close attention to the 08 ,09, 10, and 11 groups on the girls side. Brave has a good amount of players that can either start for Union or earn significant minutes.
This merger may produce a National Champion or two!
I hate to say it, but the merger will not produce a national champion. Putting garbage and garbage together doesn't make it gold. I am sure that Union families aren't worried about losing a spot to Brave players. I doubt the two clubs will cut players. They will combine them and have a 30 on the roster. The more players you have, the more money they make.
LOL. More like 40-50 on the roster. Have you seen the roster sizes on McLean teams?

I'm not super familiar with all the clubs/leagues/local geographies...but in this case, where is the likely outlet for the Union/Brave players that don't make the consolidated rosters?

Meanwhile poor GA has watered down the area with FCV and VRSC. If ECNL wants to add a club back to the MA possibly there's another outside Northern Virginia, making their footprint bigger.
I don't think Brave was getting kicked out, the '08 girls are in the playoffs and the '10 and '11 aren't out of contention.
On the boys side the clubs are pretty equally bad, why not try to get one competitive team out of the deal. Offer the other kids regional league spots and those teams get more competitive.
So I don't think Mclean who was the first Club forced to merge and lost that partner is coming in with any more weight than Brave.
I think you'll see some coaches from both sides..
Brave getting kicked out of the ECNL is the fever dream of some spurned soccer Dad. They could win it all and he would post that...
Having to merge teams means that ECNL added terrible teams with a handful of players on each that will combine and form a semi decent team…
if the GA were to take this same approach and force weak clubs to merge they'd be down to maybe 25 teams nationally and I'm being generous.
