I'm sorry the AP is leaving. She is really good. Maybe they would appoint her as acting principal (which it seems she could do intead of the principal internship program--probably more valuable to get experience as an acting).

If they don't have a permanent person ready to start by July, they'll appoint an acting principal.

New Principal won’t start until July 1, regardless of when hired. Other schools that had new principals held meetings, picnics, listening sessions etc. during the summer to get to know the community.

Bannockburn is the only one still posted, so presumably they have candidates to interview for the others.
